Family Fit Day
As an optional extra we also offer school's a Family Fit Day. This day can be filled with any of the following

Sensory circuit training- information and activities to develop staff confidence when delivering sensory circuits

Active Intervention Training- information and activities to develop staff confidence when delivering bespoke physical interventions (e.g to support regulation or gross motor skills).

Active at Home Parent Workshops- interactive workshop to highlight the benefits of physical activity in the home

Physical Literacy Workshops for classes- sessions designed to provide positive experience for all children and help children understand their own preferences

Active Classroom Workshops for classes- activities to increase the amount of physical activity throughout the school day

Feedback so far
Our staff and families loved the family workshops. All of the staff were happy to get involved and support
children whose grown ups were not able to attend. We enjoyed challenging the children and loved seeing their enjoyment.
Our parent workshops with Owen get everyone up on their feet and interacting with one
another. Both pupils and parents thoroughly enjoy the activities and challenges he sets. J
said, “The games are fast and fun—we don’t stop!” A’s mum added, “Owen has shown us how
easy it is to engage in physical activities with our children.”
